The
Summit.
A seven-day elevated ADV experience at Keyah Grande — a private 6,000-acre estate in Colorado's San Juan Mountains. Two-and-a-half days of professional off-road coaching. Three days of guided riding through the best dirt in the lower forty-eight. Nights at a four-star ranch most people can't book.

An elevated ADV
experience starts here.
Keyah Grande means "big country." For forty years it has been a private family estate in the San Juan Mountains — a 6,000-acre ranch with eight country-themed suites, a great room, three stocked ponds, and a stable. We've taken the whole property for The Summit.
This is not a motorcycle camp. It's a private estate where the riding happens to be world-class. Leather and wood interiors. A resident chef. Amenities most riders have never seen in a single property: spa, sporting clays, horseback, fly fishing, a wine cellar, a poker room.

Six thousand acres.
A resident herd.
The estate is a working wildlife preserve. You will see elk on the ride. You will see them on the deck. That is the rhythm of the place.
Everything the lodge offers.
Open to every rider on non-ride days — and to plus-ones for the full week. The reason couples book.

Two-and-a-half days to prepare you.
Three days to prove it.
A structured progression — not a tour. You arrive, you train, you ride. The aid vehicle is on every mountain mile. The guides know every meter of the route.
Touch-down & welcome.
Durango airport shuttle. Suite check-in. Bike fit. Welcome dinner in the great room.
Foundations.
Slow-speed control. Standing technique. Clutch & throttle hands. The first half-day on the ranch.
Loose surface.
Hill work. Pivoting. Recovery. Confidence on gravel — the skill that unlocks the dirt.
The Alpine.
First guided day in the San Juans. Trailside lunch on a pass. Aid vehicle the whole way.
The Piedra.
Creeks, river crossings, the long climb. The most photographed day of the week.
Elwood Pass.
The summit day. High alpine. Closing awards dinner back at the lodge.
Slow morning out.
Long breakfast. Photos sent. Shuttle to DRO. You leave a better rider than you arrived.
Two machines.
Pick yours.
The Summit is built around the Pan America 1250 Special — the program bike. If you ride a GS already, the R 1250 GS is on the truck too. Rentals are billed separately from the program; bring your own machine and there's no rental.
1250 Special.
More power. Adjustable ride height. The best electronics suite in class. Most riders arrive skeptical; most leave converts. If you don't have a reason to pick the other one, pick this.
If you already ride a GS and you'd rather not relearn switchgear in your training week, we have one for you. Proven, trusted, no surprises — and exactly the right call if you have a reason.
Three days. Three signatures.
Routes are pre-ridden every spring. Aid vehicle on every kilometer. Guides know every meter — fuel stops, alternates, exits.
The Alpine.
A first-day route designed to put everything you learned in the training block to work. Forest road, gravel, gentle alpine. Trailside lunch on a pass at 11,400 feet. Photographers staged at the overlook.
The Piedra.
Creeks. River crossings. The longest climb of the week. The most photographed day of the Summit — not by accident. Recovery vehicle on standby; lunch riverside.
Elwood Pass.
The final ride. High alpine. Old wagon road grades and broad meadows above treeline. End the day back at Keyah for the closing awards dinner and the cellar reserve.
Four ways in. Every rider has one.

Why the price is
the price.
Most weeks of the year, you can't book Keyah Grande. We took the whole property. Before a single off-road skill is taught, the lodging math at the estate's own rates looks like this:
Add 2.5 days of professional coaching — a comparable 2.5-day school sells for roughly the same dollars all by itself. Then add three days of guided riding, SAG support, guides, route, photography, and the Durango shuttle.
The Summit is not expensive. It's correctly priced.
You're buying a week at a four-star estate with the most premium ADV training program in North America bolted on top. The coaching, effectively, is $1,600.
The riders we built this for.
The Pan America convert.
Twenty years on Harleys. Just bought a Pan America. Has no idea how to ride it in dirt. This is the week he stops dragging pegs and learns to stand.
The dusty GS.
Bought a GS on a midlife whim. 3,000 miles. Has never seen real dirt. He's tired of the bike being a garage trophy. The Summit settles it.
The couple.
He wants to ride. She wants Colorado, wine, horses, spa. It is the only product on the market that delivers both at a four-star property.
The exec with one week.
CEO. Partner. Surgeon. One riding week per year. Will pay for quality because his time is the constraint — not the money.
What riders actually ask.
No — bike rental is a separate line. Choose the Pan America 1250 Special (the program bike) or the R 1250 GS, or bring your own ADV-class machine and skip the rental entirely. We'll send exact rental pricing within 24 hours of your inquiry.
That is literally why this program exists. Half the 2026 riders have never done serious dirt — the 2.5-day training block is for them. We don't put anyone on a mountain pass they aren't ready for. By Day Four most riders surprise themselves.
Bring them anyway. The plus-one rate is $1,500 and includes the full Keyah experience — spa, horseback, fly fishing, sporting clays, every meal. Most couples report that the non-riding partner had a better week than the riding one.
The reason this works is because it is a full week. The training block, altitude adjustment, and three ride days do not compress. If a full week isn't on the table, the Ride-Only tier at $1,500 is three ride days for local riders with their own bed.
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit holds your seat. Balance is due 30 days before the session. Every 2026 attendee locks 2026 pricing for 2027. Credit card, wire, or check — we'll route the paperwork the same day.
Your seat
awaits.
Deposits open first to Summit alumni; our active rider list follows three days later; the broader community ships on Day 14. The 2026 season is eighty seats. A handful per session. Pick yours and we'll hold it for 48 hours while you square the rest of your year.
"You'll leave a better rider than you arrived. That's a guarantee, not a slogan."
